Alex Pétion

Alex is a soldier, and he is married to Catherine Rock.  He does not know that the Black Maroon is his brother-in-law. Alex believes that he is related to the famous Alexandre Pétion.

Alexandre Sabès Pétion was the first President of the Republic of Haiti from 1807 until he died in 1818. He is acknowledged as one of Haiti’s founding fathers, a member of the revolutionary quartet that includes Toussaint Louverture, Jean-Jacques Dessalines, and his later rival Henri Christophe.

Alex Pétion is a very formal man. He believes that the country should be run by a military commander, someone with experience leading troops. He doesn’t like the Black Maroon. He believes that the Black Maroon is there to do a show, to get views on social media.

He runs a social media page that shows the failures of the Black Maroon.
